About the Artist:~

Hi, I am Claire and one of those creative people who, apart from having made a living being a performer, singer/guitarist and percussionist, luv to design and create original artworks within various art and craft mediums or forms.

I have also worked as a freelance signwriter and artist over the years; been involved in various Folk and Music Festivals in QLD., N.S.W., and W.A. (performing and volunteering/assisting within the Children's Activities Marquees/areas); as well as facilitating and assisting in community art and music projects during the past 16 years on the Gold Coast in Queensland, and townships of Western Australia, including Perth City and it's Metro area (where I've been living for the past 11 years, though my partner Baz - also an entertainer, and I would like to resume our working holiday around Aus sometime soon). I have also facilitated and been a Musical Director for the Sambanistas - a Community Arts & Percussion Group based here in Perth.

I currently (and have for the past 8 years), facilitate and 'run' a Music & Movement/Dance Program for disabled participants for Melville Cares as part of their Recreational & Respite activities program.

I have also been face (and body) painting for several years and, nearly 6 years ago, acquired Henna Magic - a reputable henna art (temporary tattoos) and henna kits business based here in Perth.

We also offer temporary ink tattoos - beautiful freehand designs, as well as an assortment of designs (using stencils and various sized waterproof temp tattoos), and in a great choice of colours (including metallics and glitters).
